Key Responsibilities:
- Act as the first point of contact for HR queries from blue-collar employees and supervisors.
- Provide advice on HR policies, procedures, and industrial relations matters.
- Manage end-to-end recruitment for production and operational roles, including job advertising, screening, interviewing, and offer management.
- Streamline and improve onboarding processes to enhance employee experience and reduce time-to-hire.
- Support workforce planning and assist with rostering and staffing requirements.
- Maintain accurate employee records and ensure compliance with Fair Work and WHS legislation.
- Assist with performance management processes and provide coaching to line managers.
- Contribute to HR projects aimed at improving engagement and retention.
- Prepare HR reports and metrics for management review.
- Promote a positive workplace culture aligned with company values.
- Previous experience in HR advisory roles within manufacturing, logistics, or similar blue-collar environments.
- Strong understanding of Australian employment law and industrial relations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build trust across all levels.
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail and ability to manage competing priorities.
- Proficiency in HRIS and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a small, supportive team.
- Tertiary qualification in Human Resources or related discipline (or equivalent experience).
- Current Working Rights in Australia.
