We’re supporting a large, ASX-listed organisation with a diverse workforce across Australia, New Zealand, Singapore, the UK and Canada. As the business continues to evolve, we’re searching for an experienced Payroll Manager to lead a well-established team and drive ongoing improvement across systems, processes and compliance.

What you’ll lead
You’ll oversee a skilled team comprising:
- Payroll team of 6-8
- Managing payroll for up to 5kpermanent and casual employees.
- Managing end-to-end payroll across multiple countries, ensuring accurate, timely and compliant processing.
- Overseeing remediation projects and driving data-driven improvements across processes and systems.
- Ensuring correct interpretation and application of EBAs, awards and legislative requirements.
- Leading system updates and integrations, including extensive work within SAP.
- Supporting the business through significant workforce volume changes and seasonal payroll cycles.
- Collaborating with HR, IT and Finance to strengthen process alignment, reporting and governance.
- Coaching and developing your team to maintain high standards and a strong service culture.
- Strong experience managing payroll in a large, complex, ASX-listed environment.
- Proven background leading remediation projects, process uplift or compliance reviews.
- Deep understanding of EBAs, awards, enterprise agreements and payroll legislation.
- Hands-on experience with SAP payroll(essential).
- Ability to balance strategic thinking with disciplined, detail-driven execution.
- Confident stakeholder manager with excellent communication and people-leadership skills.

- Exposure to multi-country payroll operations and ongoing transformation work.
