Finding a job in Adelaide I 2022

Featuring Western Australia Managing Director Peta Seaman and our people2people recruitment experts.

Talent Webinar Series

Since March 2020, our teams have interviewed over 1,500 job seekers and 910 business leaders representing more than 600,000 employees to identify new workplace trends and job seekers’ expectations.

The report revealed over 40% of workers are looking to change jobs or make a career change in 2022. With such a high percentage of people actively looking for a new role, it’s more important than ever to make yourself stand out to potential employers.
Hosted by people2people’s South Australia Director Peta Seaman, and our experienced consultants Ellis Fielding, Jessica Bales, and Sylvia Przychodzen, this one-hour webinar will cover job seekers’ most common challenges, how to overcome these to find the job you love, and the following topics:

- The current state of the Adelaide job market
- How to update your CV and cover letter in 2022
- How to prepare for a face-to-face interview vs a virtual interview
- Counteroffer management
- An interactive Q&A session

About our speaker

Peta Seaman is the South Australia Directing Manager for people2people, leading our Adelaide office since 2019. However, Peta wasn’t always in recruitment. Before joining people2people, Peta started out as a hairdresser, progressing into an educator role supporting industry professionals across South Australia.

After taking a career break from hairdressing, Peta travelled around the US for a while before returning back home. However, once returning she realised that her old profession wasn’t the right fit for her anymore. This inspired Peta to take the leap into recruitment where she specialised in Supply Chain Management, rising up through the ranks in internal and agency positions.

After working in several recruitment companies early on in her career, the shift from liking to loving what she did happened after she came on board with people2people. Initially joining the Parramatta office, Peta was driven by the focus on learning and development and the growth opportunities throughout the company across Australia. The opportunity to drive the expansion of the P2P brand while supporting the wonderful job seekers and clients of Adelaide was one too good to miss.
