The Role
The firm is seeking a Senior Associate and an Associate to join its Dispute Resolution and Litigation team in Sydney. The successful candidates will
• Act on complex commercial litigation and class actions, including funded matters
• Work on large scale corporate disputes across multiple sectors
• Engage with litigation funders, counsel and experts on case strategy
• Draft and settle high quality pleadings, affidavits and other court documents
• Assist with hearings, mediations and settlement processes
• Undertake legal research and contribute to litigation strategy
• Manage workflow and supervise junior team members where required
• Build strong client relationships and support business development activity
This role suits ambitious litigators who thrive in complex disputes and want to deepen their expertise in class actions and funded litigation.

The Candidate
Candidates should meet the following criteria
• Associate level 3 to 5 years PAE in litigation
• Senior Associate level at least 5 years PAE in litigation
• Strong superior court litigation experience from a reputable practice
• Exposure to class actions or funded litigation, or a clear interest in the area
• Strong technical skills and a strong academic background
• Excellent drafting skills, particularly for court documents
• Outstanding time management and ability to manage competing priorities
• A collaborative, team focused working style
• High attention to detail and commitment to quality work
• Confident verbal and written communication
• Self motivated with a desire to build a long term career in complex disputes and class actions
