The Role
The firm is seeking 2 experienced litigation lawyers to join its Sydney team:
  • Senior Associate (5+ PQE)
  • Associate (3-5 PQE)
Both roles involve working on complex commercial litigation and class actions, including matters involving third-party litigation funding. The successful candidates will manage significant disputes, draft court documents, liaise with barristers, and provide strategic advice to clients. There is flexibility to commence in the Melbourne office before transitioning to Sydney if interested. These positions offer exposure to high-quality work and the opportunity to collaborate with experienced partners and senior lawyers.

The Candidate

The ideal candidate will demonstrate:
  • Strong litigation background (any area of law) with a minimum of 3 years’ PQE for Associate and 5+ years’ PQE for Senior Associate.
  • Interest or experience in class actions and funded litigation.
  • NSW admission (or ability to obtain).
  • Strong academic credentials and technical legal skills.
  • Previous experience in a large law firm is highly regarded.
  • Excellent drafting skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities and work under pressure.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, including the ability to build relationships with barristers and clients.
  • A collaborative and proactive approach to work.
