As an experienced Wills & Estates practitioner, you will be joining a team of loyal, longstanding professionals supported by committed and dedicated assistants and paralegals. You will be stepping into a senior role with an established portfolio of high quality, generational clients including HNW individuals, family groups and business owners, providing sophisticated estate planning strategies and tailored solutions. You will also mentor junior lawyers, contribute to thought leadership and play a key role in shaping the continued growth of our practice.
Key tasks will include: • Advising clients on complex estate and succession planning matters • Drafting wills, EPOAs, testamentary trusts, binding death benefit nominations and related instruments • Structuring and implementing strategies involving trusts, companies and SMSFs • Providing advice on probate, estate administration and contentious estate matters • Managing your own files with autonomy while receiving support as needed • Building and maintaining strong client relationships • Supervising and mentoring junior lawyers
With 5+ years PAE and career to date focused on wills + estates, you are a client focused lawyer who enjoys both technical complexity and the human aspect of private client work. Your expertise with be across estate planning, estates administration and succession law and you will have Demonstrated ability to handle complex matters and provide clear commercial advice. Above all, you will possess the interpersonal skills to blend in with this long-standing team lead by an engaged, experienced and committed leadership team.
