This firm provides comprehensive financial and strategic support to businesses at every stage, from start-up through to growth and maturity. The team focuses on a collaborative, hands-on approach, acting as a true partner in building, scaling, and optimising business performance.
The role: We are seeking an experienced Business Development Manager
on a 12-month contract
to support the smooth transition and retention of clients acquired through a recent business acquisition. You will oversee a portfolio of clients, strengthen relationships, address concerns, and convert them onto formal service agreements.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee a portfolio of new clients, fostering trust and ongoing engagement.
Present and demonstrate the benefits of services while resolving client concerns.
Convert clients to formal agreements and handle any necessary negotiations.
Coordinate with internal teams and keep records to ensure seamless onboarding and progress tracking.
Criteria:
Demonstrated success in business development
or B2B
Skilled at managing objections and navigating challenging conversations.
Self-motivated with a proactive, results- driven
Strong relationship-building
and stakeholder management abilities.
Experience in client onboarding, acquisition integration, or transition management.
Industry background: Professional services or accounting (desired).
