About:

This firm provides comprehensive financial and strategic support to businesses at every stage, from start-up through to growth and maturity. The team focuses on a collaborative, hands-on approach, acting as a true partner in building, scaling, and optimising business performance.
 
The role:
We are seeking an experienced Business Development Manager on a 12-month contract to support the smooth transition and retention of clients acquired through a recent business acquisition.
You will oversee a portfolio of clients, strengthen relationships, address concerns, and convert them onto formal service agreements.
 
Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee a portfolio of new clients, fostering trust and ongoing engagement.
  • Present and demonstrate the benefits of services while resolving client concerns.
  • Convert clients to formal agreements and handle any necessary negotiations.
  • Coordinate with internal teams and keep records to ensure seamless onboarding and progress tracking.
 
Criteria:
  • Demonstrated success in business development or B2B
  • Skilled at managing objections and navigating challenging conversations.
  • Self-motivated with a proactive, results- driven
  • Strong relationship-building and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Experience in client onboarding, acquisition integration, or transition management.
  • Industry background: Professional services or accounting (desired).
