Collections Officer - 6 month contract
Our client, a well-established and growing engineering and construction company, is seeking an experienced Senior
Collections Officer to join their finance team on a 6-month fixed term contract based in Woolloongabba. This is a hands-on role suited to someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and has a strong track record of reducing aged debt and building effective working relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
Proactively manage and reduce aged receivables
Follow up outstanding accounts via phone and email
Perform daily and monthly account reconciliations
Bank reconciliations and Allocation of payments
Accurate receipting of payments
Maintain strong relationships with clients and internal stakeholders
About You:
Proven experience in Collections within a commercial environment
Demonstrated success in reducing aged debt
Strong reconciliation and allocation skills
Excellent communication and negotiation abilities
Confident, professional and resilient when managing difficult conversations
High attention to detail and strong organisational skills
Available to commence immediately, strong Excel skills (pivot tables, v look ups, D365 advantageous
