An established global law firm is seeking an experienced Billing Officer to join its Perth office.
This role sits within the Finance team and is responsible for delivering accurate and timely client billing support to the firm’s legal teams. You will work closely with Legal Assistants, Partners and the broader national finance team to manage billing processes and ensure compliance with client requirements.
Key Responsibilities
End-to-end client billing
Maintaining client and matter billing data
Managing electronic billing and invoice transmission
Processing write-offs, reversals and credit notes
Reviewing time entries and disbursements
Assisting with billing process improvements
Skills and Experience
Previous experience in a client billing role is essential
Experience within a legal environment is highly regarded
Candidates from accounting or other professional services environments working with billable hours will be considered
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to prioritise and meet deadlines
Confident communication skills and a collaborative approach
Legal Assistants with strong billing exposure who are looking to transition into a dedicated finance role are encouraged to apply.
