Medical Receptionist

We are expanding our pool of experienced Medical Receptionists to support a range of medical practices across Adelaide. These opportunities suit candidates seeking temporary and contract assignments, with immediate starts available for various clinics and healthcare settings.

About the Opportunities
You will be the welcoming face of busy medical practices, providing highโ€‘quality patient support and smooth frontโ€‘desk operations. Assignments offer fullโ€‘time hours, with some roles requiring weekend availability.

Key Responsibilities
  • Greeting patients and managing frontโ€‘desk enquiries
  • Coordinating appointments and supporting daily schedules
  • Processing Medicare claims, EFTPOS and private billing
  • Handling phone and email enquiries
  • Maintaining accurate patient records
  • Ensuring reception and waiting areas are clean, organised, and patientโ€‘focused
  • Liaising with doctors, nurses, specialists, and allied health teams
Systems Experience (Highly Regarded)
Candidates with experience in general medical practice systems are encouraged to apply, including:
  • Best Practice (BP), MedicalDirector / PracSoft, Zedmed, Cliniko, HotDoc, Automeds, PRODA, HealthLink
About You
  • Experience as a Medical Receptionist or within healthcare administration
  • Confident using medical software and working in fastโ€‘paced environments
  • Strong verbal communication and excellent customer service skills
  • Ability to juggle competing priorities with professionalism
  • Reliable, adaptable, and comfortable working across different practices
  • Available immediately for fullโ€‘time temporary or contract opportunities
