We are currently partnering with a well-established and prestigious accounting firm in Brisbane CBD, seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to join their Business Services team.

The Role You will work closely with Managers and Partners across a diverse client base, taking ownership of client relationships while supporting and mentoring junior team members.
Your responsibilities will include:
Preparing financial statements and tax returns for companies, trusts, partnerships, and individuals
Managing a portfolio of clients across a range of industries
Reviewing work prepared by junior staff and providing guidance and support
Liaising directly with clients, the ATO, and other stakeholders
Assisting with tax planning and advisory work
Preparing BAS, FBT returns, and other compliance requirements
Supporting process improvements and contributing to team development
About You
3–5+ years’ experience within Australian public practice (Business Services / Tax)
CA/CPA qualified or nearing completion
Strong technical knowledge across tax and compliance
Experience reviewing junior work or mentoring staff
Confident communicator with the ability to manage client relationships
Proficient in Xero, MYOB, APS, or similar systems
