Salary range: Up to 100,000 + Super +  Company Vehicle + Fuel allowance

Full time permanent role | Perth metro ~ Predominantly office based role

About the Role 
  • Step out of the tools and into a leadership position where your technical background actually matters.
  • An established and growing installation and construction business is seeking a Field Operations Manager to oversee operations across residential, builder and commercial projects. This is a hands‑on, field‑focused leadership role ideal for someone from a carpentry, installation, roofing, air‑conditioning or construction background who wants to step into a senior operational role without being on the tools.
  • You’ll own installation quality, defects/warranty work, complex site challenges and technical support for builders and clients. You’ll be the “go‑to” problem solver while helping maintain high workmanship standards, strong client satisfaction and a positive team culture.

Key Responsibilities:

Installation Quality
  • Oversee installation standards across all project types
  • Conduct site inspections and quality audits
  • Identify recurring issues and implement corrective actions
Warranty, Rectification & Defects
  • Manage warranty and rectification jobs end‑to‑end
  • Allocate installers and resources for urgent issues
  • Ensure timely, professional defect resolution
Problem Jobs & Site Escalations
  • Own complex or escalated site issues
  • Attend sites to assess and resolve construction challenges
  • Provide technical guidance to installers and inspection consultants
Builder & Commercial Support
  • Provide technical input into builder/commercial quotes
  • Attend site meetings as required
  • Support smooth handover from quoting to installation
In‑Home Consultations
  • Conduct in‑home consultations up to three days per week
  • Assess site conditions and recommend appropriate solutions
  • Assist in closing technically complex or high‑value jobs
Team Leadership & Culture
  • Lead installers and field staff by example
  • Maintain a positive, respectful and accountable team culture
  • Communicate effectively across a multicultural workforce
  • Address performance, safety and conduct issues promptly
About You
  • Background in carpentry, installation, roofing, air‑conditioning or construction
  • Experience managing field teams or onsite operations
  • Confident handling builders, clients and high‑pressure situations
  • Strong problem‑solving and decision‑making skills
  • Clear, practical communication style
