Talent Acquisition Specialist
• 4 month temp with potential extension • Up to $56 per hour • 5 days onsite in Ultimo
This role plays a critical part in delivering a high-quality, inclusive and professional recruitment experience. Working closely with hiring managers, you’ll manage end-to-end recruitment activities while ensuring processes are efficient, compliant and candidate-focused. This is a great opportunity for an experienced government recruiter who enjoys pace, structure and partnering with stakeholders to deliver timely hiring outcomes. Must have working knowledge of the GSC rule 21.
Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver full-cycle recruitment in line with NSW Public Service guidelines, partnering with hiring managers across advertising, screening, interviews and reference checks. • Provide clear, timely and professional communication to candidates and stakeholders throughout the recruitment process. • Proactively source and build talent pipelines to support current and future workforce needs. • Champion inclusive recruitment practices and contribute to employer branding initiatives that support diversity and accessibility. • Maintain accurate recruitment data and reporting, while collaborating with the wider team and supporting broader HR initiatives.
Skills & Experience:
• Demonstrated experience managing end-to-end recruitment across a range of roles and portfolios. • Prior government recruitment experience is essential with working knowledge of GSC rule 21 • Strong sourcing capability with sound candidate assessment and selection expertise. • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills. • Confidence working with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and recruitment reporting. • A genuine commitment to diversity, equity and inclusion in hiring practices.
