People2people are currently recruiting for an experienced Store Person to join business within the Agricultural Supply industry. This company is a well-established brand within the industry specialising in the use of the latest technology to create high quality products for Agricultural use. This role is located in the Northern Suburbs of Adelaide, just 20 minutes out of the CBD. This is a permanent full-time opportunity working Monday-Friday with flexibility for the right candidate.
Responsibilities & Duties:
This is an independent role, and the candidate must be able to work autonomously with little supervision. The candidate will be responsible for general store person duties including but not limited to:
- Picking, packing, and assembling kits and orders
- Receiving, storing, and despatching of goods
- Maintain the housekeeping of the warehouse
- Ability to identify hazards around the warehouse and follow procedures when needed
- Potential forklift operation.
About you:
- Ability to work autonomously with strong initiative and self-motivation
- Ability to carry out Manuel handling duties such as lifting, bending, reaching, and stretching
- High attention to detail is a must
- Experience in a similar role and sound knowledge of warehousing duties
- Interest and knowledge in latest technology and electronics would be desirable, but not essential
- Experience operating a forklift and a current forklift license would be desirable, but not essential
