The Opportunity
You will be responsible for developing and executing group and events sales strategies, managing high-value corporate accounts, and proactively sourcing new business. You’ll work closely with revenue, events and operations teams to ensure strong conversion, seamless delivery and exceptional client experiences.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve and exceed group and events revenue targets
- Proactively identify, pitch and convert new group, MICE and corporate business
- Manage and grow a portfolio of key accounts, maximising repeat and referral business
- Lead client site inspections, presentations and contract negotiations
- Analyse market trends, competitor activity and production performance to uncover growth opportunities
- Collaborate with revenue management on pricing, yield and demand strategies
- Represent the business at industry events, trade shows and networking opportunities
- Maintain accurate reporting and pipeline management using CRM and sales systems
- Act as a senior ambassador for the brand across the corporate and events community
About You
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in hotel or hospitality sales, specialising in Group/MICE or Corporate segments
- Strong existing client and agency network
- Demonstrated success in managing high-value accounts and achieving revenue targets
- Commercially astute with strong negotiation and relationship management skills
- Confident presenter with excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Highly organised, proactive and results-driven
- Comfortable working cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment
