The organisation seeks an Architectural Assistant Part 2 to contribute to innovative design solutions and assist in the development of masterplans and residential layouts. This position offers the opportunity to engage in both technical and creative aspects of architecture, ensuring your designs meet regulatory and planning standards.
Key responsibilities
Assist in the development of masterplans and urban design frameworks
Prepare and amend technical drawings using CAD and other design software
Support design proposals from concept through to detailed design
Conduct measured surveys and site appraisals
Integrate technical and planning requirements into design proposals
Prepare drawing packages for planning submissions and construction stages
Attend site and consultant meetings, contributing effectively
Maintain project files and manage drawing issue records
Skills & experience
Proven experience in drawing, design, and presentation skills
Strong capability in building technology and construction methods
Demonstrated ability to understand UK planning policy and health & safety requirements
Well-organised with effective time management skills
Confident communicator with good interpersonal skills
Comfortable working independently and within a team
Willingness to travel within the UK as required
