The Role
Associate to Senior Associate level corporate role
Advising on mergers and acquisitions and broader corporate transactions
Working closely with experienced partners on complex deals
Exposure to private and mid market transactions
Drafting and negotiating transaction documents
Managing matters with increasing autonomy as experience grows
Replacing an existing role with a full time, sustainable workload
Realistic billable expectations compared to large firm environments
The Candidate
Admitted lawyer with 2+ years post admission experience
Background in corporate law with M&A exposure
Experience from a quality commercial environment
Strong drafting, analytical and commercial skills
Able to manage transactions efficiently and pragmatically
Demonstrated stability in career history
Looking for a long term role rather than frequent short moves
Confident communicator who works well in a close knit team
