About the role
This role offers a unique opportunity for a Business Development / Commercial Officer to drive revenue growth and develop relationships within a commercially focused environment. You will be responsible for identifying opportunities, managing customer accounts, and contributing to strategic business decisions. The position allows for personal growth and the potential to influence the organisation's direction.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct end-to-end business development and prospecting
- Engage in cold calling and online market research
- Build and maintain customer relationships
- Manage accounts and sales activities
- Plan and conduct customer visits
- Develop relationships through face-to-face interactions
- Support stock management and commercial decision-making
- Manage domestic and international business opportunities.
Skills & experience
- Proven experience in business development and sales
- Strong capability in cold calling and relationship building
- Demonstrated ability to maintain strong commercial awareness
- Experience working autonomously and managing customer relationships
- Background in technical sales, engineering, manufacturing, procurement, or industrial sectors preferred.
