This position offers a unique opportunity to oversee the reliable operation of a property in Moscow. The Facilities Supervisor will manage both strategic planning and hands-on operational tasks, ensuring that all facilities are maintained to the highest standards. This role combines hands-on problem solving with asset management, maintenance planning, and health and safety oversight.
Key responsibilities
- Manage and implement maintenance programmes and asset lifecycle planning
- Review and improve long-term property strategies
- Monitor budgets and asset records
- Manage a small maintenance team
- Manage contractors and facilities-related service contracts
- Identify opportunities for efficiencies and continuous improvement
- Undertake repairs and coordinate resolutions for property-related issues
- Maintain health and safety oversight across embassy properties
- Act as the key link between Moscow and Wellington teams
Skills & experience
- Proven experience in maintenance, building services, or facilities management
- Trade qualification or technical background in relevant fields
- Strong capability in asset lifecycle management and risk management
- Demonstrated ability to develop and manage maintenance plans
- Effective communication skills in written and verbal formats
- Proficiency in Microsoft 365
