Inventory Controller & Returns Administrator (12-month Fixed Term Contract)

We're looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Inventory Controller & Returns Administrator to join our team and play a pivotal role in optimising inventory performance across our reverse logistics operations. Working closely with Compliance, 3PL partners, Technology teams and Service Centre Managers, you'll ensure inventory accuracy, streamline processes and help deliver an exceptional customer experience.

What you'll be doing
  • Manage end-to-end inventory activities including returns, stock movements, grading, dispatch, write-offs, scrapping and compliance
  • Maintain accurate inventory records across SAP and warehouse management systems
  • Investigate inventory discrepancies and product returns, identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions
  • Partner with 3PL providers to oversee inventory accuracy, cycle counts and operational performance
  • Support reporting, stock validation and transaction processing to ensure data integrity
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance inventory processes, systems and operational efficiency
  • Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to deliver timely, compliant and customer-focused outcomes.
What you'll bring
  • Previous experience in inventory, warehousing, reverse logistics or supply chain
  • Experience with SAP and strong Microsoft Excel skills
  • Excellent attention to detail with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • A continuous improvement mindset and a passion for process optimisation
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to build effective stakeholder relationships
  • A proactive, self-motivated approach and the ability to manage competing priorities
  • Understanding of inventory control and reverse logistics practices is highly regarded.
