IT Hardware Support Technician (Engineer)

IT Hardware Support Technician About the Company This is a fast-growing IT product reseller and solutions provider working across a wide range of technologies, from legacy systems through to modern enterprise infrastructure. The business has a collaborative, down-to-earth culture where everyone contributes and no one hides behind a job title. With a strong, varied portfolio of clients expect high standards, interesting projects, and strong long-term growth. The company places a genuine emphasis on development, offering exposure to different technologies, vendor-supported training, and clear pathways for progression as the business continues to expand. About the Opportunity This is a hands-on role working across desktops, laptops, servers, and other IT equipment. You will be involved in building, testing, diagnosing, and repairing hardware, while also supporting the wider team with technical services. The role offers strong variety, with exposure to a broad mix of technologies rather than repetitive, single-product work. You will also support logistics tasks such as coordinating shipments and preparing equipment, making up a smaller portion of the role. Over time, there is clear scope to grow into more senior or client-facing positions, including opportunities to work on-site and take ownership of projects. Key responsibilities include: • Building, configuring, and preparing IT equipment • Diagnosing and repairing hardware issues • Testing components and systems • Supporting technical service delivery • Assisting with logistics and equipment coordination • Continuously developing technical skills and knowledge About You You are someone who genuinely enjoys working with hardware and figuring out how things work. Whether that comes from hands-on work experience or personal projects, you are naturally curious and like getting stuck in. You are not just looking for a job, but an opportunity to learn, develop, and grow within IT. You bring a positive attitude, take ownership of your work, and are comfortable working in a team where everyone contributes. You will ideally have: • Hands-on experience building or repairing computers or similar equipment • A strong interest in IT and willingness to learn • Good communication skills and a collaborative approach • A proactive mindset with the confidence to take initiative over time If this sounds like you apply now or email me for any enquiries at liamg@people2people.com.au
