About the Role
An opportunity has become available for an experienced Legal Secretary to join a busy Disputes team on a part-time basis. Supporting a senior lawyer alongside the broader disputes team, this role will suit someone who enjoys working within litigation, can confidently manage competing priorities and thrives in a fast-paced environment. This is a hands-on support role requiring someone proactive, organised and capable of working autonomously while remaining an integral part of the wider team.
- Liaising with clients and stakeholders via phone and email
- Preparing and drafting legal documents and correspondence
- Collating court documents and preparing bundles
- Diary management and coordinating appointments
- Billing and financial administration support
- Opening, maintaining and closing electronic files
- General administrative and practice support to the disputes team
About You
The successful candidate will have strong disputes or litigation legal secretarial experience and be confident supporting a busy senior lawyer within a fast-paced practice.
You will bring: Minimum 3 years’ experience as a Legal Secretary|||Previous disputes or litigation experience|||Strong organisational and file management skills|||Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office skills|||Experience using document management and billing systems|||Excellent verbal and written communication skills|||A proactive and adaptable approach with the ability to work independently. This role will suit someone capable, resilient and confident managing a busy workload while maintaining a high standard of work.
