About the Role
This is a standalone Marketing & Communications Manager position, owning the Australian strategy end to end. You’ll report into a Senior leader based in China and will be responsible for translating a global narrative into something that lands locally. This is not a “follow the playbook” role. You’ll be expected to build, shape and execute with a high level of autonomy.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and deliver the Australian marketing and communications strategy
- Lead PR and media engagement, building credible external relationships
- Develop and oversee content across all channels, ensuring consistency and relevance
- Partner with internal stakeholders on product launches and campaign activity
- Track market trends and competitor activity to inform positioning and decision making
Skills & Experience
- Proven experience in a corporate marketing and communications role
- Strong PR and media relations capability — this is a core part of the role
- Demonstrated ability to build and execute campaigns that drive brand awareness
- Comfortable working across cultures and with offshore stakeholders
- Strong written communication skills (English essential)
- Mandarin language capability is beneficial
