About the Role
An opportunity has become available for an experienced Legal Assistant to join a busy and collaborative team within a leading professional services environment. This role will provide proactive administrative and practice support to lawyers across a range of transactional and client-facing matters. Working as part of matter teams, you will support the full lifecycle of legal matters from inception through to billing and completion, while also contributing to the smooth day-to-day operations of the office.
Key responsibilities include
  • Managing billing processes and financial administration
  • Assisting with matter opening processes and conflict checks
  • Preparing engagement documentation and correspondence
  • Coordinating deadlines, court dates and team schedules
  • Diary and inbox management
  • Managing travel arrangements and expense processing
  • Formatting legal and client documents
  • PDF editing, document comparisons and bundling
  • Supporting file management within iManage
  • Assisting with legal directory submissions and team resources
  • Providing broader office and Front of House support when required
About You
The successful candidate will bring previous experience within a law firm or professional services environment and enjoy working within a fast-paced, high-performing team.
You will have: 3–5 years’ experience within a Legal Assistant or professional support role|||Strong organisational skills and attention to detail|||Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office skills|||The ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines|||A proactive, mature and collaborative approach|||Strong communication and relationship-building skills|||The ability to work confidently both independently and within a team environment
