Key responsibilities
- Lead the writing process for the final report to the Minister
- Collaborate closely with the Ministerial Advisory Group and stakeholders
- Ensure the report meets the required standards and timelines
- Understand and articulate funding policy issues effectively
- Facilitate iterations and approvals of the report content.

- Proven experience in writing and producing high-quality reports
- Strong capability in understanding funding policy issues and concepts
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with senior stakeholders
- Experience in managing tight deadlines and delivering under pressure
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

The Principal Advisor will play a pivotal role in leading the writing of the final report for a Funding Review Ministerial Advisory Group. This position involves collaboration with the advisory group, particularly the Chair, to ensure that the report is well-crafted, iterated, and finalised before Christmas. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to engage deeply with funding policy issues while backfilling for a key team member on leave.
