About the role
In this role, you will manage the accounts payable function, focusing on supplier maintenance and operational support. You will handle escalated queries, perform accounts payable analysis, and identify opportunities for process improvement and automation. Your contributions will be essential in driving efficiency and enhancing operational insights through reporting and documentation.
Key responsibilities
- Manage escalated queries and operational support for accounts payable
- Conduct accounts payable analysis to identify areas for improvement
- Drive process improvements with change control and documentation
- Producing regular and ad hoc reports to support business decisions
- Oversee supplier management, including correspondence and team management of offshore operations
- Analyse and resolve invoice discrepancies effectively.
Skills & experience
- Proven experience in accounts payable management, including supplier correspondence and operational oversight, ideally in a complex or professional services environment
- Demonstrated experience working with overseas shared services or offshore finance teams
- Strong capability in process improvement and automation within financial operations
- Demonstrated ability to analyse data and produce insightful reports to support decision-making
- Confidence managing stakeholder relationships and handling escalations.
