About the role
The Warehouse Storeperson position plays a vital role in the smooth operation of the warehouse. You will be responsible for receiving, picking, packing, and dispatching stock with accuracy and efficiency. This role offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where your contributions will be recognised and valued. The role will be located in Cavan to start and move into new offices located near the Adelaide Airport.
Key responsibilities
- Receive, pick, pack, and dispatch stock accurately and efficiently
- Load and unload deliveries, ensuring goods are handled safely
- Operate warehouse equipment, including forklifts, in accordance with safety guidelines
- Maintain accurate inventory records and assist with stocktakes
- Ensure warehouse areas are kept clean, organised, and compliant with WHS standards
- Follow established procedures to support efficient warehouse workflows
- Work collaboratively with team members to meet operational deadlines
Skills & experience
- Proven experience in warehouse operations, including receiving and dispatching goods
- Strong capability in operating warehouse equipment safely, including forklifts
- Demonstrated ability to maintain accurate inventory records and assist with stocktakes
- Proven experience in adhering to safety and compliance standards within a warehouse environment
- Strong capability in working collaboratively within a team to achieve operational goals
