About the role:
The Supply Chain Manager is split into two discreet functions, the first, Demand management and supply forecasting for all Air Solutions products to ensure efficient supply chain operation and achievement of Supply Chain KPI’s, with focus on minimisation of Aged inventory. The second and equally important function of this role is to lead the analysing of critical business data in order to provide HOD and OPS with sales data to drive a data based view of future revenue potential, across both B2B and Dealer channels.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Support to Lead the Air Solutions Division in all reporting requirements related to supply chain forecasting
- Support sales/product marketing team to generate weekly AP2 forecasts for assigned AS product groups
- Analyse AP2 forecasts entered by product marketing team and guide the team with forward planning recommendations
- Monitor AP2 forecast updates and ensure forecasts are maintained based on market trends, customer requirements, competitor information, and promotional activity
- Manage freight-forwarder and continuously drive change with a view to enhanced visibility on incoming stock to improve inbound processes between the freight forwarder and the warehouse
- Liaise closely with Samsung Korea support team to ensure the management of Return to Forecast based on demand input
- Data mine available sales and data to provide forward sales projections
- Analyse and project Dealer purchasing based on credit limit and historic data
- Ideally 4-5 years of demand analysis / forecasting / supply chain operation experience
