About the role:
This position is responsible for the coordination, control and compliance of all scrapping activities conducted by the Returns operation.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Ensure compliance to local and HQ processes, policies and procedures
- Raise all necessary approvals to initiate scrapping activities
- Monitor preparation of scrapping loads in accordance to approved manifests
- Validate the deserialization of product for scrap. Collect physical/electronic evidence of same
- Verify loading to approved manifests
- Capture and verify seals at departure and receiving locations
- Report any and all incidents of non-compliance, discrepancy
- Maintain scrapping register detailing milestones and status
- Report to management weekly on scrapping activities and pending status
- Strong work ethic
- Ability to build a report for both internal and external customers to be able to have work completed
- Overall understanding in warehouse management
