You've got the job

You've got the job
Once you've accepted the job, here's how to prepare for your new role:

Contract Queries: Direct any contract-related questions to your people2people consultant.

Maintain Professionalism: Continue to perform at your best in your current job and fulfill your commitments during your notice period.

Attire: Wear attire similar to what you wore during your interviews for your first few weeks in the new role. Once you're settled, you can adapt to your organization's dress code.

Transport Planning: Investigate your transport routes and timetables to ensure you arrive on time. It's not the time for a major change in your appearance.

Stay in Touch: During your first week, check in with your p2p consultant to update them on your progress. Listen and ask for clarification when needed. Day-to-day questions are best directed to your manager, but keep your consultant informed.

Professional Conduct: Reserve personal calls, texts, and social media for outside business hours. Use your work time to deliver on the promises you made during your interviews.

Be Patient: Remember that settling into a new role takes time, just as it did in your previous job.
