Te whiwhinga mahi | The Opportunity
We have two full-time roles available in the wider Wellington team — one newly created and focused on civil and construction, the other picking up a long-standing patch of industrial customers. This is face-to-face, out-on-the-road selling. You’ll be managing existing relationships and growing your territory through proactive outreach, creative thinking, and exceptional service. These are high-trust roles in a high-performing team, with a lot of flexibility and support — but the expectation is that you’ll take full ownership of your patch, drive your own pipeline, and live the brand every day. The territories cover the wider Wellington region (including Hutt, Kapiti, Wairarapa and as far north as Levin).
Ngā kawenga | What You’ll Be Doing
- Growing and maintaining a customer base across the industrial and/or civil sector
- Driving brand awareness and product knowledge in your territory
- Using internal tools (including Surface Pro + proprietary CRM) to manage your workflow
- Working closely with the internal sales and warehouse team to deliver a great customer experience
- Helping out in branch as needed
We’re looking for people who:
- Have proven B2B sales experience (ideally in trade, industrial, or construction sectors)
- Are self-starters who take initiative and ownership of their work
- Are naturally relationship-driven — you enjoy getting to know people and building long-term trust
- Are confident using CRMs, Surface Pros, and other digital tools
- Can adapt quickly and enjoy a fast-moving environment
- Love being on the road and aren’t afraid to walk onto a construction site or workshop and strike up a conversation
- Competitive salary: $70,000–$95,000 depending on experience

- Bonus structure: Discretionary 6-monthly bonus + high-performance incentive
