Client and Billings Supervisor

THE ROLE:
This role is a key point of contact between the firm’s fee earners and finance team, supporting the smooth management of client billing, revenue, and related financial processes. It combines hands-on coordination with partner and client-facing advisory support.

Key responsibilities include:
-Acting as the primary point of contact for partners and lawyers on billing, WIP, and client finance queries, while managing escalations relating to collections, disputes, and outstanding matters.
-Coordinating monthly billing cycles, ensuring invoices are issued accurately, on time, and in line with client requirements.
-Reviewing new matters to confirm tax treatment and client-specific billing requirements are accurately applied.
-Assisting lawyers with budgets, accruals, and client reporting obligations.
-Completing compliance checks and coordinating the resolution of issues where needed.
-Providing guidance to fee earners and support staff on billing policies, processes, and systems.

ABOUT YOU:
The successful candidate will demonstrate:
-Prior experience in billing, revenue, or finance operations within a law firm. 
-Confidence working with senior stakeholders, with the ability to influence and resolve complex issues.
-Strong organisational and analytical skills, with the capacity to manage competing priorities.
-A proactive, solutions-focused mindset and excellent attention to detail.
