The Role
This exciting opportunity is tailored for a motivated property lawyer to join the firm’s highly regarded Real Estate team. The successful candidate will:
- Work on a diverse portfolio of leasing and transactional property matters.
- Draft and negotiate retail, commercial, and industrial lease agreements.
- Handle acquisitions and disposals, including preparing, reviewing, and negotiating contracts.
- Manage files independently while collaborating with a supportive and experienced team.
- Develop business skills with access to mentorship from senior lawyers and partners.
- Participate in one of Australia’s leading property law practices, contributing to significant projects and strategic transactions.
To excel in this role, candidates should demonstrate:
- 2–10 years’ post-admission experience in transactional property or leasing law at a top-tier law firm.
- A solid understanding of commercial property transactions and the Retail Leases Act.
- Proficiency with tools such as PEXA and excellent drafting skills.
- A client-focused, practical, and commercial approach to problem-solving.
- Strong communication, time management, and research abilities.
- A collaborative, adaptable, and proactive mindset, thriving in a dynamic environment.
