Our client is a commercial law firm with offices in both Melbourne and Sydney. They have expertise in a range of areas, including WorkCover, Dispute Resolution, Property Law, Workplace Relations and Intellectual Property. THE ROLE
This role will see you supporting the Principal and their team who specialise in Government, Planning & Environment. Your main duties will include, but are not limited to:

  • Proactively manage appointments, tasks and reminders for file work, hearings, settlements, client meetings, etc;
  • Transcription of digital dictation and general typing, including preparation of correspondence, agreements, advices and court documents;
  • File management of documents, including correspondence, letters and file notes;
  • Preparation of substantial amounts of documentation including barrister’s briefs, court books, compiling submissions;
  • Entering daily timesheets, preparing detailed bills in accordance with firm protocols and monthly deadlines;
  • Provide support with business development, tenders, court and advice work; and
  • Screening telephone calls, assisting with client queries where appropriate, managing client expectations around communications.
