THE ROLE:
As a Family Law Assistant, you will play a pivotal role in supporting a team of experienced family lawyers. Your responsibilities will include:
-Drafting and preparing legal documents and correspondence
-Managing client files and matter documentation
-Liaising with clients, courts, and external stakeholders
-Assisting with diary and calendar management, including scheduling appointments and court dates
-Providing general administrative support to ensure the smooth running of the practice
-This is a fast-paced and rewarding position for someone who enjoys working in a collaborative and client-focused environment.
ABOUT YOU:
To be successful in this role, you will ideally have:
-Previous experience as a legal assistant or secretary in family law
-Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
-Excellent written and verbal communication
-The ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
-A proactive attitude and a team-oriented approach
-Proficiency in Microsoft Office and legal practice software (Practice Evolve or similar)
