THE ROLE
As a Legal Secretary, your day-to-day duties will include:
-Provide comprehensive administrative support across the team, including coordinating meetings, travel, and events, managing calendars, and assisting with the preparation and distribution of key documents.
-Maintain accurate client and matter records in line with firm procedures, including assisting with client onboarding, file management, and ensuring deadlines are met.
-Support monthly billing processes for individual fee earners, ensuring accurate invoicing, reporting, and adherence to client-specific billing requirements.
-Liaise with internal and external stakeholders, managing inboxes and calls, resolving straightforward queries, and ensuring timely communication and follow-up.
-Perform general administrative duties including expense processing, document formatting and version control, matter management, conflict checks, and ad hoc project coordination as needed.
ABOUT YOU
To be considered a desirable candidate, you will have,
-Minimum 4 years’ experience as a legal secretary, ideally within litigation or construction
-Experience supporting senior stakeholders and multiple fee earners
-Previous experience with the monthly billing process
-Excellent written and verbal communication skills
-Strong client service and relationship management skills
-High attention to detail and accuracy
-Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage competing priorities
