Te whiwhinga mahi | The Opportunity

Lead a specialist team to develop and implement strategic planning frameworks that shape infrastructure direction over 10–100 year horizons. You’ll ensure planning aligns with organisational goals, regulatory requirements, and risk management priorities. This is a contract role with the possibility of a permanent position post-restructure, though no guarantee.

You’re a strategic thinker with deep experience in infrastructure planning or asset management. You bring leadership capability, strong stakeholder engagement skills, and the ability to translate insights into actionable long-term plans. You’re comfortable navigating change and influencing across technical and operational teams.

Ngā pūkenga me ngā wheako | Skills and experience

  • Degree in Engineering, Urban Planning, Environmental Science or related
  • 8+ years’ experience in strategic planning or infrastructure management
  • Proven ability to develop long-term plans aligned with organisational priorities
  • Strong leadership, stakeholder engagement, and risk management capability
