Payroll / Finance Officer

Our client is a well-established, Australian-owned design and manufacturing business that services residential and commercial projects across Melbourne. The company fosters a supportive and collaborative working environment. This is a great opportunity to join a stable, respected business that continues to grow in its field. Due to the nature of the role, the successful candidate will be required to work on site in the office based in Laverton VIC 3028 5 days per week.

As the Payroll /Finance Administrator, your responsibilities will include:

  • Processing a weekly payroll for 80 employees using Pronto
  • Processing new starters, terminations and redundancies
  • Processing superannuation, Incolink, CFMEU and Coinvest payments
  • Performing monthly payroll and superannuation reconciliations, end-of-year processing, and reporting
  • Processing supplier and subcontractor invoices 
  • Coordinating weekly commission payments for sales representatives
  • Setting up and maintaining fixed asset registers and depreciation schedules
  • Preparing annual FBT reports

The successful candidate will have:
  • End to end payroll experience is essential, including processing super, payroll tax and payg
  • End to end accounts payable experience
  • Accurate data entry skills and strong attention to detail
  • Intermediate excel skills
  • Strong time management skills as well as the ability to prioritise conflicting priorities
