This well-established Law firm in East Perth are seeking a Senior Paralegal to join the team on a permanent basis. This is a great opportunity for a senior paralegal to join a well respected team working across interesting matters in the mining space.
The Role
Providing high grade secretarial/paralegal work, responsibilities will include but not limited to:
- Manage a high volume of active matters across Native Title, Resources, and Litigation
- Draft legal documents including access agreements, procedural forms, and court-related materials
- Coordinate with tribunals, court staff, and process servers to ensure timely document lodgement and compliance
- Maintain well-organised and compliant matter files, including tracking deadlines and filing court documents
- Support lawyers with legal research, due diligence, and preparation of supporting documentation
- Liaise directly with clients
To be considered for this opportunity, you must have:
- 5+ years experience in a paralegal position
- Knowledge in relevant Mining legislations such as the Aboriginal Heritage Act and Department of Mines would be highly regarded
- High level of attention to detail and ability to manage competing deadlines in a fast paced environment
