We are supporting one of the central government agencies with recruiting for several Senior Policy Analyst vacancies. These are permanent positions, based in Wellington.
The required skillset for these roles is ‘core policy’, so if you bring experience working in policy teams in NZ central government agencies, where you have been providing Policy advice to Ministers about issues facing New Zealand, writing briefings to the Minister, writing Cabinet papers, etc, then please read on.
There are opportunities for:
- experienced Seniors who are interested in a future management pathway, to be in a role focused on coaching and mentoring less experienced team members;
- experienced Seniors to lead and deliver evidence-based complex and sensitive policy projects & programmes of work;
- a well-experienced Policy Analyst to get that opportunity to step up to Senior Policy Analyst level.
The work also incorporates cross-agency work.
This is an opportunity to be working in Big P policy analysis and advice, on complex, interesting and varied work.
