Temporary to Permanent Cashier & Accounts Support – $40/hr + Super – Early Morning Shift
Are you an experienced cashier or finance assistant looking for a stable opportunity with variety in your day? We’re recruiting on behalf of a leading organization within the food and retail sector, seeking a reliable and detail-oriented professional to join their finance team.
Key Details:
- Pay Rate: $40/hour + super
- Schedule: Monday to Friday, 6:00am – 2:00pm
- Location: Inner Sydney, onsite parking provided
- Type: Temporary to permanent opportunity
This dual-function position offers a blend of hands-on cashiering responsibilities in the morning, followed by general accounts and administrative support in the afternoon. It’s ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys a structured routine.
Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately process cash, cheque, and EFT payments from customers
- Issue receipts, refunds, and parking tickets
- Prepare daily bank deposits and maintain cash floats
- Enter payment data and reconcile transactions
- Assist the finance team with ad hoc administrative and accounts support
- Previous experience in a retail cashier, bank teller, or finance assistant role
- Solid numeracy skills and attention to detail
- Good communication and time management abilities
- Familiarity with basic computer systems and financial processes
- A proactive, customer-oriented approach
