Administration Assistant - Insurance

About our client:

Our client is an established managing general insurance underwriting agency servicing the specialist niche motor market. Our clients prestige motor vehicle insurance product was launched to attract the proven fastidious and conscientious owners of prestige vehicles. They have professionally serviced the many needs of their clients for over 30 years whether they be via General Insurance Brokers, their Authorised Representatives or direct. Our client is recognised as a market leader in respect of prestige motor vehicle insurance, specialisising in prestige, high performance, imported, classic and four wheel drive vehicles.

About You:
This role would suit someone entry level with an insurance industry background and a minimum Tier 2 qualification or somebody looking to continue their career in the insurance industry with a pathway for career progression. We are looking for someone with excellent relationship management skills, initative and negotiation skills.

About The Role:
This is an exciting opportunity for an administration professional with a background in Insurance. This role will be fully remote based in Adelaide, with flexible part-time hours. Liaison will be via Microsoft Teams or Zoom online meetings and a monthly face to face meeting with the team to review activities, workloads and any other operational matters. The ideal candidate would have completed qualificaiton RG146. The role can potentially lead to the incumbent becoming an Authorised Representative of the Insurance Group, facilitating direct interaction with Brokers and direct clients, given the continued growth of the portfolio.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Processing duties and supporting an Authorised Representative with Marketing & Business Development.
  • Handling high volume of email correspondance.
  • Handling quotations and new business.
  • Client relationship development; Bulding & servicing.
  • Assisting with endorsements and renewals.
  • Other ad hoc administrative duties as required.
