About The Role:
As the AOG Coordinator, you’ll act as the central point of contact between internal operations and aerospace clients, ensuring the smooth and timely movement of urgent AOG shipments. Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
  • Manage AOG and engine shipments via the Aerospace Platform to ensure fast, efficient service.
  • Coordinate with global operations, AOG desks, airlines, couriers, and third-party vendors to meet customer expectations and flight schedules.
  • Prioritise AOG movements in line with KPIs and provide proactive updates to all stakeholders.
  • Quote and manage engine shipments, ensuring compliance with handling protocols and transport regulations.
  • Book both domestic and international shipments, and register AOG movements in internal systems.
  • Adhere to client-specific SOPs, customs requirements, airline rules, and Dangerous Goods regulations.
  • Investigate and resolve any service issues or delays using internal tools and processes.
  • Support ongoing safety, compliance, and continuous improvement initiatives within the aerospace vertical.
  • Attend occasional meetings outside standard business hours to collaborate with global teams—flexible arrangements supported.
  • Ensure adherence to standards across Safety, Quality, Environment, Security, and 5S practices.
  • Weekly rotating roster (6am - 2:30pm) (2:30pm - 10pm) (10pm - 6:30am) - must be flexible to work all 3 shifts.

About You:
To be successful in this position, you will bring:
  • Solid understanding of the aerospace industry and time-sensitive logistics.
  • Minimum 2-3 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Experience using freight forwarding systems in a distribution or supply chain environment.
  • Ability to build effective relationships with clients, suppliers, and internal teams.
  • Strong communication skills—both written and verbal.
  • Knowledge of Australian Customs, AQIS, and international freight regulations.
  • Analytical and detail-oriented, with good problem-solving skills.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and internal logistics systems.
  • A background in freight forwarding or relevant education is advantageous.
