We are currently partnering with a highly regarded turnaround and restructuring specialist firm based in the Brisbane CBD. The firm has a strong national presence, a team of over 100 staff nationally, and a reputation as one of the leading boutique specialists in the market. They continue to experience rapid growth, providing an exciting platform for motivated Insolvency Accountants.
The Opportunity
Due to ongoing growth, the firm is seeking to appoint both Experienced Intermediate and Senior Insolvency Accountants to their Brisbane office.
Whether your experience to date has been more focused on corporate insolvency (liquidations, voluntary administrations) or personal insolvency (bankruptcies, personal insolvency agreements), this firm can offer you further development across both areas, or the opportunity to specialise, depending on your interest.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the day-to-day administration of corporate and/or personal insolvency matters
- Liaise directly with a wide range of stakeholders — directors, creditors, debtors, legal representatives
- Prepare reports, investigation findings, and statutory lodgements for ASIC and AFSA
- Assist with investigations and recovery actions
- Coordinate the sale and realisation of assets
- Attend client meetings and stakeholder briefings where required
- Mentor junior staff (Expected as Senior Accountant.)
About You:
- Minimum 12–24 months of Australian insolvency experience within public practice or specialist firms
- Experience across either corporate insolvency, personal insolvency, or both
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Analytical mindset with great attention to detail
- Interest in developing broader technical and commercial skills
- Ideally studying towards CA/CPA (support provided)
