Are you a chartered accountant ready to make your first move into commercial finance? This is an outstanding opportunity for a CA or CPA qualified (or part-qualified) professional to join a globally recognised business in a high-impact Financial Accountant role.

This role is ideal for someone coming out of audit or business services who is ready to broaden their commercial exposure, gain hands-on experience across financial reporting, tax, compliance, and month-end processes—while being supported by a knowledgeable and collaborative finance team.

The Opportunity
Working within a high-performing finance team, you’ll gain exposure to a broad range of financial accounting tasks, including month-end reporting, profit & loss analysis, tax compliance, and audit preparation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the month-end close process with journal preparation and general ledger reconciliations.
  • Prepare monthly financial statements, balance sheet recs, and profit/loss analysis.
  • Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
  • Contribute to tax compliance, statutory reporting, and filings.
  • Work closely with external auditors and assist with audit preparation and internal controls.
  • Review invoices and ensure accurate cost allocations.
  • Assist with intercompany settlements and fortnightly payroll processing.
About You You’re a motivated, technically strong accountant looking for a career-defining first step in industry.
You’ll bring:
  • A background in chartered accounting(Big 4 or mid-tier ideal).
  • CA or CPA qualification(or currently working towards it).
  • Strong understanding of GAAP, financial reporting standards, and audit processes.
  • Excellent Excel skills and the ability to learn new systems quickly.
  • A proactive mindset with strong communication skills and attention to detail.
  • Eagerness to learn and grow within a large, complex organisation.
