- 6 month contract, immediate start
THE ROLE Key responsibilities include:
- Partnering with stakeholders to deliver people initiatives aligned with business strategy
- Advising on workforce planning, talent development, employee relations, and change management
- Supporting performance management, grievances, disciplinary action, and investigations
- Leading or contributing to enterprise agreement negotiations and industrial relations activities
- Coaching leaders on people matters and fostering a culture of collaboration
- Supporting training, development, and succession planning initiatives
- Ensuring compliance with employment legislation and internal policies
ABOUT YOU To succeed in this role, you will have:
- Tertiary qualifications in HR, business, psychology, or a related field
- Experience in a generalist HR role, within a logistics, manufacturing, or blue-collar environment
- Sound knowledge of Australian employment law, unions and HR best practices
- Strong relationship management and communication skills
- Confidence managing both white- and blue-collar workforces
- The ability to manage competing priorities and work autonomously
- High proficiency in Microsoft Office and HRIS platforms
