The Role
An opportunity exists for a Solicitor with 2–4 years PAE
to join the firm’s busy personal injury team. Working closely with an experienced Partner, the role will involve managing a mixed plaintiff-side personal injury caseload, including:
- Workers compensation and work injury damages matters.
- CTP and public liability claims.
- Attending Personal Injury Commission hearings, court appearances, and barrister conferences.
- Drafting legal documents and preparing matters for hearing or settlement.
- Managing client relationships and ensuring the highest level of service.
The Candidate
The ideal candidate will have:
- 2–4 years PAE in personal injury law, acting for either plaintiffs or defendants.
- Experience in workers compensation, WID, and ideally CTP and public liability claims.
- Familiarity with proceedings before the Personal Injury Commission.
- Experience attending court and conferences with counsel.
- Strong communication, drafting, and file management skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and time management capabilities.
- A client-focused approach and genuine passion for plaintiff personal injury law.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and a professional, team-oriented attitude.
