opportunity for a Float Secretary
to join their busy office in Melbourne CBD. The firm specialises across multiple practice areas, including corporate, commercial, disputes, property, and more. The Role
As a Float Secretary, your role will be busy and varied, and will see you supporting across various areas within the firm. Your responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:
- Liaising with clients
- Preparing court documents and briefs to counsel
- Billing
- Drafting and amending documents
- Monitoring court hearings and due dates
- Diary management
- Organising meetings and room bookings
To be considered for this opportunity, you must have:
- 2+ years' experience as a Legal Assistant, Legal Secretary or similar.
- Demonstrated excellent communication skills
- Intermediate to Advanced MS Word skills
- A willingness to learn and be self-motivated
