THE ROLE
Due to ongoing growth, the Insurance team is looking for an experienced Legal Assistant to join their dynamic practice. This is an integral role supporting up to Partner level, where no two days will be the same. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Preparing, formatting and proofreading legal correspondence and court documents
- Assisting with the management of large litigation files and claims
- Managing schedules including diary management, meeting coordination and travel bookings
- Monitoring deadlines, preparing court bundles, and managing document filing systems
- Assisting with monthly billing and timesheet administration
- Supporting the team with ad hoc administrative tasks as required
You’ll be an experienced Legal Assistant who thrives in a busy environment and is passionate about delivering high quality support. Ideally, you will bring:
- Previous experience in insurance, litigation or commercial law
- Confidence liaising with clients and stakeholders at all levels
- A keen eye for detail and top notch document formatting skills
- Excellent time management and the ability to juggle competing deadlines
- A positive attitude and team focused approach
