The Role - (Temporary/ Casual- offering 2-5 shifts a week)
This hands-on position supports the preparation, deployment, and maintenance of operational vehicles and equipment. You'll be part of a fast-paced logistics environment, ensuring fleet readiness and contributing to the day-to-day functioning of a vital public service. This role includes shift work, occasional on-call duties, and regular travel across various sites.
 
This role is looking for someone that is  Immediately Available, willing to work 2-5 shifts a week. Hours are 7am - 4pm 
 
Key Responsibilities

• Prepare vehicles and medical equipment for operational deployment
• Conduct vehicle commissioning, decommissioning, and relocations
• Perform equipment replenishment and assist with stocktakes
• Maintain up-to-date fleet and equipment records using internal systems
• Assist in the compliance testing of medical and emergency equipment
• Support the logistics support locker network and manage equipment retrievals
• Liaise with operational teams to ensure timely and efficient delivery

• Must be immediately available
• Current Heavy Rigid (HR) licence is preferred, or Victorian driver licence
• Willingness to work rotating shifts, working anywhere between 2-5 shifts a week 
• Strong attention to detail with a proactive, safety-first attitude
• Experience in logistics, fleet coordination, customer service or warehousing (preferred)
• Comfortable using Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
• Clear communication skills and a team-oriented mindset
• Willingness to undergo a National Police Check
• Must be able to provide a driving history check – preference given to applicants with no adverse findings
